This dad attempting to give his daughter curls is hilarious
The relationship a dad has with his little girl is absolutely precious, and in recent years we’ve seen more fathers than we can keep up with attempting to style their daughters’ hair. Now we can add popular rapper and comedian John Whitfield — better known as DC Young Fly — to the list, since he recently attempted to give his darling daughter a curly new ‘do.
On Instagram, the 25-year-old shared a video of himself using a sponge brush, a styling tool usually used on shorter natural textures to increase curl definition, on his daughter’s scalp. The caption read, “Ima make sure Baby Girl get them curls.”
His daughter doesn’t have enough hair for full-on curls yet, but that didn’t stop Whitfield from trying. And his little girl seems to be enjoying her dad’s gesture — which was more of a relaxing head massage — as she sits back and cracks a slight smile toward the end of the video.

In less than 24 hours, the video has already received more than 700,000 views, and most people can’t get enough of how adorable this daddy-daughter moment is. Many left lots of heart-eyes emoji, and others left sweet comments such as “She’s beautiful” and “too cute.” And one person even warned, “Better enjoy it now because soon you will have a head full of hair to do.”
But this wasn’t the only adorable moment captured between the two. Check out a few more priceless ones below.
