Dads celebrate Father’s Day at Sedgwick County Zoo car show

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Many dads celebrated Father’s Day at the Sedgwick County Zoo on Sunday.

Daddy-daughter duo Alex and Ariana Felix headed to the car show to bond over cars.

Alex said it means a lot to him to spend time with his family.

“As they get older, you know, they go to school, college, and they have their own lives eventually as they get older, and its harder, you know, stay together as a family, so it always nice to have that day,” said Alex.

The car show consisted of classic cars, antique autos and modern models. Special awards were given to the flock favorite, pack pick, kids’ pick and dads’ pick.
