Dairy Queen Delights With Bonus Blizzard Flavor for Summer
Dairy Queen's summer menu just got a little sweeter.
The company shared a preview of the new flavor that fans can get their hands on via social media, and it's one fit for a song and dance.
The Cake Batter Cookie Dough Blizzard will only be around for the next few weeks as July's limited-edition Flavor of the Month. It's made with the famous DQ soft serve infused with cake batter flavor, confetti cookie dough pieces and rainbow sprinkles.
"??Everything’s batter with our NEW Cake Batter Cookie Dough BLIZZARD Treat??," the brand shared on Instagram.
The treat is only available at participating locations for a limited time, so it may be worth calling around your local DQ locations before you head out, as a handful of customers made comments on Instagram complaining about the Blizzard's lack of availability.

That said, if you find yourself unable to get your hands on the special summertime dessert (or just want to switch up your order), fear not, as the fast food chain previously announced it would shake up its dessert menu with the addition of other flavors said to be sticking around all summer long.
Dairy Queen's complete lineup of summer Blizzard flavors includes two new flavors–the Peanut Butter Puppy Chow Blizzard Treat (crispy peanut butter puppy chow pieces, peanut butter topping and choco chunks blended with DQ's vanilla soft-serve) and the OREO? Brookie Blizzard Treat (OREO? cookie pieces and brookie pieces, brownie and cookie, blended with vanilla soft-serve)–as well as three returning favorites:
S’mores Blizzard Treat: Marshmallow-filled chocolates and graham blended with DQ's soft-serve.
Cotton Candy Blizzard Treat: Cotton candy sprinkles mixed with soft vanilla serve.
Choco Dipped Strawberry Blizzard Treat: Strawberry and choco chunks blended with DQ's soft-serve.
Dairy Queen isn't the only eatery catering to seasonal flavors—Baskin-Robbins, KFC, Starbucks and Aldi are among a few of the retailers that have already debuted all-new summer items.
