Dairy Queen Is Reportedly Taking Away a Fan-Favorite Topping
Check on your loved ones who are fans of Dairy Queen's cherry-dipped cones.
The TikTok account for the Dairy Queen in Shelby Township, Michigan announced in a video that the popular topping has been discontinued.
Miranda, who runs the account, says in the TikTok's voiceover, "I love coming on here to tell you guys when Dairy Queen has a new product but unfortunately today I have some bad news and I feel like a lot of people will be upset about this. I don't know when or if it's returning, but Dairy Queen is discontinuing its cherry cone dip."
She continued, "It's already sold out on our warehouse, so once we clear inventory in the store, it'll be sold out until further notice."

Many took to the comments to react to the fan-favorite flavor being removed from the dessert chain.
"I'm suing Dairy Queen," quipped TikTok star Jordan Payton. Others remarked that the sweet cone dip is why they visit DQ in the first place. "Cherry is the best flavor though," asserted a commenter, while another mentioned, "The only reason I love a dilly bar is because of the cherry dip ????."
"This is the worst day of my life," wrote a different cherry fan.
When a commenter asked why they had to "get rid of cherry cone dip DURING SUMMER," the Dairy Queen Shelby Township account responded, "Idk honestly. They need to start consulting with me first before they make these decisions."
However, the account did share some good news. When a DQ fan lamented that it was tough enough to lose the butterscotch flavor, Miranda wrote, "They're bringing butterscotch back tho!"
While many are distraught by the news, Dairy Queen has yet to confirm the flavor has been permanently removed from its roster, so there's still hope for its return.
