Dakota Johnson Stuns In A Dior Ballgown at TIFF Red Carpet
Dakota Johnson pulled out all the stops for the TIFF premiere of her new film The Friend on Friday in Toronto. The actress wore a black couture Dior ballgown on the red carpet, stopping for selfies with fans and posing alongside co-stars Jason Segal and Gwendoline Christie.
Johnson caused a stir last month when fans noticed the gap between her two front teeth had suddenly disappeared. The Internet mourned so loudly that eventually she had to address it on national television. Turns out, she’s just as distraught as the rest of the world.
“I had a permanent retainer since I was about 13 which was glued to the back of my teeth and I was having a lot of neck problems recently so my orthodontist decided to take it off and see if my jaw expanded and it helped me and my gap closed by itself,” she said during an appearance on The Tonight Show. “I’m really sad about it too.”
Johnson has also come across new difficulties in life with the lack of her gap tooth.
“This is really important,” she added. “I’m sad about my gap tooth too so I’d really appreciate some privacy during this time. I have to deal with a host of new problems now, I get food stuck in my teeth whereas before it would just slide right through.”
She was all smiles in Toronto, however. Hopefully this means she’s adjusted to her new gap-less lifestyle.
