What happened on last week's episode of Resident Alien?
It was all about family in "Here Comes My Baby," last week's episode of Resident Alien. Bridget, Harry's alien son, came back to Earth in his terrible twos and madder than mad that dad sent him back to their home planet alone (and without a sweater!) Returning to Earth intent on killing Harry, Bridget takes on faces familiar to Harry—first as Harry's human daughter, Liza (Taylor Blackwell). After bumping into Sahar (Gracelyn Awad-Rinke), who has returned from gifted school in California, Harry decides to use Sahar to lure Bridget back home. When Bridget does return, much to Harry's delight and Sahar's dismay, Harry tasers Bridget into blue bits. She looks even more horrified when the blue bits start regenerating into the DNA it has found on Harry's dirty floors—Sheriff Mike (Corey Reynolds), Deputy Liv (Elizabeth Bowen), Asta (Sara Tomko), Mayor Ben (Levi Fiehler), Kate (Meredith Garretson), D'arcy (Alice Wetterlund), and even the pizza guy (Curtis Braconnier) that delivers Harry's many pizzas.
Was it me or did Mayor Ben (or Levi Fiehler) look like he was having too much fun smashing that chair into Harry?

Asta gets an unexpected visit from her deadbeat mom, Mary-Ellen (Karina Logue) and the visit goes exactly as expected. Believing she's there to make amends and give Asta the family info she has been craving, Asta soon realizes that Mary-Ellen is really only there for herself. She's hoping to swindle Asta out of her hard-earned money. Later, Asta and Jay (Kaylayla Raine) have a heart-to-heart even though Asta insists Jay return home to her parents instead of running away from her problems. Even though things didn't work out between Asta and her mother, Asta and her daughter seem to be doing just fine.
D'arcy learns that even though her mother seems perpetually disappointed in her, her father has always been proud of her, even in awe of her fearlessness. This gives D'arcy purpose and her misguided confidence causes her to steal Harry's bomb from the Greys with the intention of saving Earth herself. By episode's end, Kate remembers everything about her time with the Greys after Harry takes her out of the hypnotic state he has put her in.
What is this week's episode of Resident Alien about?
In "Homecoming," D'arcy heads to Yellowstone in hopes of ruining the Greys' plans of destroying all life on earth and thereby saving the world. Will she be able to do it? Meanwhile, Harry and Asta team up with an unlikely ally to try to save Earth.
In an exclusive to Parade, we asked show creator Chris Sheridan if we would be seeing Peter Bach the Alien Tracker (Terry O'Quinn) or Joseph (Enver Gjokaj), the Grey-Human Hybrid in the season finale. He said, "I don’t want to give anything away, but expect to see more of both of them as the show moves forward!"
What about D'arcy, who is a hero but doesn't even know it? Will she be able to save Earth from the Greys? To that, Sheridan responded, "That’s a great way to phrase the question. She IS a hero, and the issue is, she doesn’t know it herself. She’s constantly looking to get love from the outside, and has to find a way to start making the right choices so she can begin to love herself from within. I think the question to ask is maybe not will she save the Earth but will she save D’arcy?"
There's not much more we can tell you without spoiling the episode but we can tell you to keep an eye out for Peter Hogan, the creator/writer of the Resident Alien comic books. He'll appear in a scene with General McCallister (Linda Hamilton) as seen below.

Will there be a season 4 of Resident Alien?
No word yet if SYFY has picked up Resident Alien for a fourth season, but be sure to use the hashtag #GiveUSRAS4 on social media and tag @SYFY and @ResidentAlien in your posts.
We asked show creator Chris Sheridan if there was any indication from the network regarding a fourth season and beyond. In an exclusive to Parade, Sheridan said, "No word yet on a fourth season, but our fanbase is now bigger than ever, so we expect to hear good news soon!"
We also asked Sheridan what kind of storylines we might see if we get a Season 4. "The show works best when we can keep a balance between heightened genre storylines, and grounded character pieces, so expect to see more of both. We want to continue exploring the Greys and Grey abductions in as grounded a way as possible—after all this abduction event is something that tens of thousands of people claim has happened to them. We want to tell those stories and stay authentic to the experience of the abductees."
