Darkfest Announces 2024 Lineup

Every winter, freeride fans turn their attention to South Africa for the First Marquee Freeride event of the year; Darkfest. Since 2013, the best riders in the world have gathered in South Africa to showcase their skills on the enormous jump line.

On January 17, 2024, Darkfest released the official lineup for this year's event.

This year's lineup features a stacked lineup of sendy men and women.

The men competing will be Sam Reynolds, Clemens Kaudela, Matt Macduff, Ike Klaassen, Kaos Seagrave, Theo Erlangsen, Adolf Silva, Vincent Tupin, Kade Edwards, Paul Couderc, Daniel Ruso, Bienve Aguado, Kurtis Downs, Szymon Godziek, Sam Hodgson, Ellias Ruso, Nicholi Rogatkin, Matt Jones, Brendan Fairclough, Tom Isted, Graham Aggasiz, Johnny Salido, Carson Storch, Dan Faley, Talus Turk, Dawid Godziek, and Dylan Stark

The women's field will feature Vaea Verbeek, Casey Brown, Chelsea Kimball, Robin Goomes, Vero Sandler, Harriet Burbridge-Smith, Gemma Corbera, and Vinny Armstrong.

I for one can't wait!

In the past few years, Darkfest has only grown in prominence as an event. Founder Sam Reynolds and Matt MacDuff certainly know how to put on and market an event!

The 2023 Darkfest was an amazing event. There, Tom Isted set the world record for the longest backflip.
