As loved ones and fans continue to mourn the death of Matthew Perry, many are looking back at old interviews of or about the Friends actor—and one clip making its rounds features his stepfather, Keith Morrison.
In 2017, Morrison appeared on Watch What Happens Live, where he reflected on Perry being his stepson.
“I did think he’d be famous, but probably not as an actor," he told host Andy Cohen.
Morrison also shared that he had visited the set of Friends and met all of the main cast members. When Cohen asked his favorite part of being Perry's stepdad, the Dateline host offered an aww-worthy answer.
"Where should I start?" he said. "I mean, there are dozens of them."
Morrison added: "He's really, a very good guy."
"He's very thoughtful," Cohen interjected, to which Morrison agreed, "He is!"
As for the most thoughtful gift Perry had given him, Morrison revealed it was a car.
"It was a [Porsche] 911, and I still drive it around," he shared.
Perry's mother, Suzanne Morrison, father, John Benett Perry, and Keith were photographed arriving at the Friends actor's home on Saturday, Oct. 28, following news of his death.
In a statement to People, Perry's family broke their silence about his untimely passing at age 54.
"We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother," they told the publication. "Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend. You all meant so much to him and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love."
Perry's autopsy is complete but his cause of death has not yet been determined, pending the results of a toxicology report.
