DAYS and DWTS Alum Trevor Donovan Has a New Four-Legged Friend
Trevor Donovan had a brief tenure on Days of our Lives as Jeremy Horton, but once a Horton always a Horton! He’s also certainly a name familiar to TV viewers from his turns on Dancing With Stars and TV movies on Great American Family and Hallmark. Now, the actor is sharing some real-life personal news. He’s all smiles over getting a new best friend.
Man’s Best Friend
“Hey, everybody,” Donovan began an Instagram post. “Look who I just got. So, I just adopted this little knucklehead. He’s almost a year old and trying to figure out what to name him. He’s got a good nickname — ‘Q-tip’ because [of] the obvious, he looks like a Q-tip.”
Donovan, a longtime dog owner and pet champion, asked followers to recommend a permanent name for his new pup and while some great suggestions poured in, the actor quickly chose a new handle for his new family member.
“Hey, Roscoe!!!” Donovan posted in a follow-up Instagram reel that showed the actor and his dog having fun out by the ocean. “He’s such a happy boy!!!” Check out the video of Donovan and Roscoe at the beach set to the uplifting song “Heart Beat Here” by Dashboard Confessional.
Asked what kind of dog he now has, Trevor Donovan replied that Roscoe is a “mutt.” The poster replied that those are “the best kind. Enjoy every minute with him.”
The rescue that coordinated Donovan’s adoption, Wags Pet Adoption, shared: “Thank you so much for adopting Q-tip!!! We were so excited to see him find his forever home!!”
