Fall is quickly approaching, and with that comes cozy sweaters, warm spices, and an endless array of pumpkin spice flavored products. There are a lot of breakfast-y items — coffee creamers, yogurts, cream cheese spreads, and more — hitting grocery shelves this year. (So many, in fact, that it was even hard for us to keep up!)

We rounded up as many of the newest, limited-edition, and fan-favorite day starters we could get our hands on and sampled our way through all of them. Here are seven of the best pumpkin spice breakfast finds you’ll want to check out this fall, including two (yes, two!) coffee creamers you need to recreate that classic PSL.

1. Chobani Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer

If you count down the return of the pumpkin spice latte every year, you’ll absolutely want to grab a bottle of this delicious creamer. Chobani’s coffee creamer is made from cream, so just a small pour will give you a rich, exceptionally smooth, “decadent” coffee. Kitchn editors raved over its “spot-on” flavor. (Some may have even fought over taking the bottle home). It “feels like something you want to sit and savor,” says our Associate Editor, Groceries, Ali — and the best part is you don’t even have to leave your home.

2. Coffee-Mate Pumpkin Spice Iced Coffee (and Coffee Creamer)

Coffee-lovers, we’re sharing not one but two different items to spice up your morning cup. First up: Coffee-Mate’s iced coffee. New to shelves this season, the pre-made drink has a “nice, toasty flavor” and isn’t overly sweet, which pleasantly surprised many of our staff. Katie, Director of Recruiting, said, “I’d rather have this than go out and buy a latte.” (You’ll save a lot of money that way too.) The pumpkin spice coffee creamer also brings a “sweet nuttiness that makes it great for an everyday treat,” says Ali. Pair the two together if you just can’t get enough of that pumpkin spice flavor.

3. Philadelphia Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheese Spread

Thick, creamy, and effortlessly spreadable, this seasonal fan-favorite has just the right amount of pumpkin spice flavor with the addition of cinnamon and brown sugar. It gets an extra kick of brightness from lemon juice, which plays off the tang of the cream cheese well. Several staff members think “this would make a great cream cheese frosting” or be delicious “smeared on top of a cinnamon roll or muffin.”

4. Ellenos Pumpkin Pie Greek Yogurt

Ellenos does Greek yogurt well (the brand recently won a spot in our Kitchn Grocery Essentials!) with its rich and creamy recipe that makes breakfast, or snack time, just a little more “gourmet.” Even Senior Editor, Groceries, Mara, who normally doesn’t buy Greek yogurt makes an exception for Ellenos. “The combination of pumpkin purée, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spices really does mimic the flavors in a classic pumpkin pie. Plus, the cookie crumble adds a nice, crunchy texture. These are rich AF, so proceed with caution,” she suggests.

5. Good Culture Organic Pumpkin Spice Cottage Cheese

Good Culture got in on the pumpkin spice action this year with its first-ever pumpkin spice cottage cheese made with pumpkin (no artificial flavors here!). “It tastes like a cheesecake filling,” says Ali, who is clearing room in her fridge for these as you read. “I’d eat it on its own a hundred times over, but also with other seasonal fruit, like apple, for a snack,” she says.

6. Pop-Tarts Frosted Pumpkin Pie Toaster Pastries

This beloved flavor is back, and fans can’t get enough — including our very own team members. “It’s the best thing I’ve tasted in a while,” says Katie. Others noted it reminds them of the equally great brown sugar cinnamon Pop-Tarts, but “with more warming fall flavors,” thanks to the addition of nutmeg and clove. Whether you eat it straight from the silver wrapper or heat one up in the toaster, you’ll get a taste of autumn in every bite.

7. Sweet Loren’s Pumpkin Spice Cookie Dough

These aren’t your everyday breakfast cookies. But if you prefer your pumpkin spice in cookie form, look no further. Our team continues to rave about the allergen-friendly cookies from Sweet Loren’s. One staffer even says the gooey, spiced cookie is “the best item of the bunch.” While some noted the texture is a tad grainy, “you really have to be looking for it.” They’re great for crowds, too, as they’re gluten- and dairy-free.
