'Tis the season for Advent Calendars to start rolling out, and Costco is wasting no time getting in on the fun. After dropping their hot-ticket Wine Advent Calendar last month — which fans are already stocking up on — the popular warehouse is keeping the good times rolling.
But it feels like it's all too soon (have we even picked pumpkins or bookmarked Thanksgiving recipes yet?), it's really not. Just take a look at TikTok, and you'll see retailers like World's Fair are already filled to the brim with Advent Calendars.

One of the most anticipated of the year is always the Bonne Maman advent calendar with so-cute, so-delicious jars of the brand's spreads. Though Advent starts on December 3, like many advent calendars, Bonne Maman's 24-door calendar allows celebrators to begin on December 1, and there's nothing wrong with that. It's currently available on Bonne Maman's website for $45.

However, Costco has swooped in with a 12-day alternative for people hoping for a zero-proof alternative to the warehouse's famous wine calendar. It's also a lower-commitment, cheaper version of Bonne Maman's calendar. You can snag it for $15.99 at your local Costco (supplies may vary based on location), making it to be about $1.33 per jar. Talk about spreading the cheer!
Let's back up a second. For the uninitiated, the Bonne Maman Advent Calendar is full of limited-edition mini jars with honey and spread flavors that are only available during the holidays. They almost look too cute to eat, but you'll want to dig in. The spreads taste excellent on crackers, alongside meats and cheeses on a charcuterie board or — let's be honest — eaten straight out of the jar.
