Are you in need of a new favorite hangout? Look no further than Delmar's newest whiskey and wine bar, Rehoboth Beach's latest speakeasy, Salisbury's brand new burger joint and much more all found on the Delmarva Peninsula.

Oaked 54 Whiskey & Wine Bar
30503 E. Line Rd.
Oaked 54, Delmar's newest business venture, celebrated its official grand opening on April 26. The local, laid-back whiskey and wine bar, located at 30503 E. Line Road, is owned by Jason Welch and Doug Marshall.
Oaked 54’s Executive Chef, Cheyenne Simpler of Lewes, has spent months curating Oaked 54’s menu.
"We are so grateful for all of the continued support and look forward to celebrating with the community!" the new business said online. Oaked 54's sister restaurants include Oaked 110 and Oaked at the Cellar.

A new burger joint is officially open for business at The Centre at Salisbury, located at 2300 N. Salisbury Blvd Food Court G119. Flamin' Burgers is serving up juicy smash burgers, crispy fries, soda floats and an array of desserts.
"Thank you for all who have visited us in the past three days! It has been an absolute pleasure to have so many happy customers," Flamin' Burgers said in an April 11 Facebook post, later encouraging the public to shop local.

222 Florida Ave.
Renovations are now complete at Caribbean Express Market, located at 222 Florida Ave. behind Wawa in Salisbury. Customers can now stop by for fresh meats, produce, package goods, spices and much more.
"Shout out to Gillis Gilkerson's Don Murray, who acted as both Project Manager and Superintendent for this renovation," said Gillis Gilkerson in an April 26 Facebook post of the local convenience store.

Boho Bungalow, a local gift shop featuring must-have items curated for an Eastern Shore lifestyle, celebrated its official ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 25 at 11312 Manklin Creek Road Unit B2 in Berlin, Maryland.
The gift shop, owned and operated by Amber Baker, offers customers unique home décor items and gifts made by local artisans.
"Thank you all so much for coming out to celebrate with us today! We are very blessed to be surrounded by such an incredible group of people! All the love and support means the world," said Boho Bungalow online.

A brand-new speakeasy and whiskey bar serving elevated comfort cuisine is now open at 19819 Coastal Highway at the former Chaps Pit Beef in Rehoboth Beach. Patrons can enjoy comfort food and cocktails while listening to soft jazz music at 302 The Local, owned by Chris Desch.
According to the speakeasy's website, 302 The Local's "cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and a menu bursting with mouthwatering dishes (makes it) the perfect place to unwind and savor a delightful meal." 302 The Local celebrated its official soft opening on April 15.

Grotto Pizza
1509 Coastal Hwy
Grotto Pizza is officially open for business at 1509 Coastal Highway in Dewey Beach. The old Grotto Pizza building, previously located on Coastal Highway, was demolished the week of Nov. 7, 2023.
Presently, the pizzeria is open Thursdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. The pizzeria plans to be open seven days a week by mid-May.
