Demi Lovato Is Reportedly Leaving the Hospital This Week
Demi Lovato is expected to leave the hospital this week after an alleged drug overdose on July 24. Sources tell TMZ that the singer has stabilized, but at this point it remains unclear if she's going to book herself into a rehab program-though the people closest to her are reportedly encouraging her to do so.
It was previously reported that Demi's been resting while her family supports her through the recovery process, and that she's also been receiving support from her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.
Wilmer and Demi dated for about six years and have remained good friends since parting ways, and he's been seen visiting her at least twice since her hospitalization-at one point staying for five full hours.
The hospital floor where Demi's recovering has allegedly been on total lockdown since she arrived, with Us Weekly reporting that they'd "placed two security guards outside of her room and has been instructed to not let anyone that Demi’s mom hasn’t approved to visit her. The entire floor is basically on lockdown with the rooms next to hers remaining vacant to give her the utmost privacy."
