Demi Lovato’s New Boyfriend, Max Ehrich, Isn’t Ready to Propose Just Yet
Earlier today, reports said that Demi Lovato’s boyfriend, Max Ehrich, wants to propose soon.
It doesn’t look like this rumor is actually true though.
Demi and Max started dating a literal month ago and have been self-isolating together.

Welp, looks like there are conflicting reports on whether Max will be proposing to Demi anytime soon. Although Us Weekly reported that Max is planning on popping the question to Demi once the pandemic is over, a separate report from E! News says the rumor is totally false. *womp, womp*
“The engagement rumors are not true,” E!’s source said. “It’s still early in the relationship and Demi and Max are enjoying just getting to know each other.”
The good news here is that all parties agree Max is super into Demi, even though they’re not exactly at the “life commitment stage” yet. “Max is very much in love with Demi and is infatuated with her,” a separate source told E! News. “Max has basically already moved into Demi’s house and everything has been going really well. They are always joking and laughing all day long, keeping each other entertained.”
Looks like we’ll just have to wait to see how this love story turns out!

Do you think you’d propose to someone you started dating a month ago? The average person would say “probably not,” but now that we’re all stuck at home seeing our significant others 24 hours a day, relationships are progressing waaay quicker than normal. Take Demi Lovato’s relationship with her new boyfriend, Max Ehrich, for example—despite the fact that they are self-isolating together and have literally dated for only a month, Max is already seeing wedding bells in his and Demi’s future!
According to an Us Weekly source, Max wants to ask Demi to marry him after the world returns back to normal. “Max plans to propose to Demi after this whole pandemic is resolved and their families wouldn’t be surprised by the proposal,” the source said. “They think they make a great couple.”
Although this isolation period can drive some couples crazy (it happens to even the best of us!), it’s done pretty much the opposite for Demi and Max’s relationship. They’re “getting really serious” and “the quarantine has been really great for Demi, and she and Max have gotten so close,” the source added. “She’s doing a great job at staying sober, healthy, and taking care of herself.”
While you might be just a *tad* bit concerned that Demi is moving too fast with Max, fear not, friend—he’s “a really nice guy and they are happy together,” so don’t you worry. Now, if you need me, I’ll be placing bets on whether Demi will sing at her own wedding or not...riiight after Max and Demi decide to go Instagram official, of course.
