Demi Moore, Bruce Willis’ Daughter Tallulah Shares Message Amid ED Recovery
Tallulah Willis has always been very honest and authentic on social media, and her most recent post went even deeper, with the 29-year-old opening up about her recovery process from disordered eating.
Demi Moore and Bruce Willis' youngest daughter posted a few photos on Instagram showing a little of her progress pre-recovery to now, while celebrating how far she's come.
Starting with a trigger warning that stated, "TW: ED pre-recovery image," Tallulah revealed what she looked like while suffering from an eating disorder, along with a look at her current body and her enthusiasm to continue on this positive journey.
She wrote in the caption, "I love her. And I love her, and I see how courageous she’s been. steady on the course my bbs ?? #edrecovery #iloveme."
Friends, family, and fans showered Tallulah with support in the comments, with her sister, Scout LaRue Willis, enthusiastically commenting, "YESSSSSSS MY DELICIOUS QUEEN!!!!"
"Congratulations!!!! You rock!" wrote Gracie McGraw, while Sarah Paulson added, "I love you."
Many fans thanked Tallulah for her honesty and openness, as one such comment read, "This is so important. Thank you for being honest and real with this topic. Means a lot for the ED support network to know there is help. Our loved ones can truly have a full life in recovery ??."
"Your story is important. Thank you for sharing it ??," said another.
Earlier this year, Tallulah wrote in detail about her struggles with depression, eating disorders, and more in a meaningful article for Vogue, saying, "For the last four years, I have suffered from anorexia nervosa, which I’ve been reluctant to talk about because, after getting sober at age 20, restricting food has felt like the last vice that I got to hold on to."
She opened up about getting treatment last year and is now in recovery, focusing on embracing life and spending all the time she can with her family. "Recovery is probably lifelong, but I now have the tools to be present in all facets of my life, and especially in my relationship with my dad. I can bring him an energy that’s bright and sunny, no matter where I’ve been," Tallulah wrote.
Tallulah is the youngest daughter of Moore and Willis, along with her older sisters Scout and Rumer Willis. She also has two half-sisters, Mabel and Evelyn, whom Willis shares with wife Emma Heming Willis.
