I built a lookalike outfit for less.
Demi Moore hasn’t just perfected the cool-girl look; she’s perfected effortlessly chic winter dressing. Last week, the actress stepped out in a timeless black duster coat, wide-leg jeans, booties, and a vintage tee. The outfit was the right mix of casual-cool pieces and timeless elements — a combination that worked so well, she used it again this week.
While out in New York, Moore used a number of those same ingredients to create a look that felt effortless but still sophisticated. On top, she reached for that same winter jacket, which features an oversized fit and collar, and on the bottom, she opted for slouchy blue jeans with a casual raw hem and heeled black ankle boots. Her repeat-look proved that when you’ve perfected a recipe, you really don’t need to deviate from it. Fortunately for me — someone who’s obsessed with everything about her winter ‘fit — it’s shockingly easy to replicate.
If you’re wanting to achieve her casual-chic, three-part winter look, I recreated it for $234.
Uaneo Wool-Blend Overcoat
Uaneo’s $63 winter overcoat achieves Moore’s look for less. Like the actress’ coat, this wool-blend style features a casual, slouchy fit and elevated notched lapels. And according to a shopper, “It has an expensive look to it.” The oversized fit looks chic while being ideal for layering over thick knits, the same person added, calling it “easy” for winter wear. And per another fan, “the feel of the material is so soft…You can just wrap up and be comfortable with the look of class.”

Madewell the Perfect Vintage Wide-Leg Crop Jean
I’m immediately adding Moore’s casual, loose jeans to my wishlist. Her vintage-inspired style featured a raw hem and slim wide-leg — which gives them that lived-in look — and Madewell’s Perfect Vintage Wide-Leg jeans are the perfect lookalike. The style features a similar, light-wash denim, high-waisted fit, and frayed hem. Plus, it’s available in five lengths: petite, standard, plus, tall, and taller. One shopper who called this style “absolute perfection” wrote that the fit of the jeans “is really so flattering and just perfect,” explaining that “the waist tapers in a little” which prevents gapping. “It is such a comfortable, flattering, and stylish fit,” raved another fan.

Dream Pairs Chunky High-Heel Booties
Sleek black ankle boots are a winter staple that can be worn casually or elevated, and Moore’s loyalty to them has convinced me my own wardrobe needs a pair. Luckily, you can get a similar heeled style at Amazon for $43. Dream Pairs’ pointed-toe ankle boots are available in 14 colors and boast more than 5,000 perfect ratings with fans calling the booties “stylish, comfortable, and versatile.” “The quality is so luxurious,” gushed one person about the boots, while another shopper who deemed them their “favorite boots” said that the style is “so comfortable,” they “wore them all day walking without any issues.”
