For his last fight, boxing superstar Devin Haney stepped into the ring in a custom outfit designed by Dominic “The Surgeon” Ciambrone. The two have linked up once again on the athlete’s in-ring look for his fight on Saturday night.

When Haney (30-0, 15 KOs) steps into the ring to face Regis Prograis (29-1, 24 KOs) at the Chase Center in San Francisco, he will be wearing a handcrafted and customized look inspired by Rick Owens. The outfit was created using repurposed authentic Rick Owens pieces.

On foot, Haney will wear custom boxing boots that feature a handcrafted outsole leather wrap, which makes the high-fashion look functional for boxing. Haney’s boots are reminiscent of the Rick Owens Geobasket sneaker from 2008 that reportedly was met with a cease-and-desist letter from Nike.

Aside from the boots, the outfit includes the Rick Owens Girdered Cropped Bomber with “DHP” for the fighter’s Devin Haney Promotions company on the back executed in premium white python and the SS20 Thomas Lace Shorts with laces and embroidered logos.

Saturday night’s Haney-Prograis fight will air live on Dazn at 8 p.m. ET. Cost of the pay-per-view is $60 for Dazn subscribers and $75 for non-subscribers.

Haney and The Shoe Surgeon have teamed up on custom in-ring looks before. Most recently, for Haney’s fight against Vasiliy Lomachenko in May, The Shoe Surgeon created boots inspired by the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 collaboration, which was designed by the late Virgil Abloh. The boots were made using $5,000 in Louis Vuitton bags. As for the jacket and trunks, The Shoe Surgeon cut up and reconstructed $10,000 in pieces from Kapital, specifically the embroidered skeleton from the Crosby jacket and authentic boro fabric that was handmade in Japan.

Haney’s fight night outfit for his showdown with Lomachenko cost him $45,000.

Ahead of the Lomachenko fight, Haney spoke with FN about his aspirations in fashion as he continues to dominate in the ring. “I want to take it to the next level. I want to do the runways, I want to dig deeper into fashion and get dialed in with the right people. I want to walk the runway for Louis Vuitton, Dior — any of those big brands, the real fashionable brands,” Haney told FN.
