Did Karlie Kloss Just Reveal Princess Beatrice's Secret Instagram Account?
Not long after model Karlie Kloss gave her followers a first look at her engagement ring on Instagram Stories, she also posted reactions from friends and family about her wedding news.
Among the excited faces, which also included Serena Williams and Kloss's mom, was none other than the Queen's granddaughter, Princess Beatrice.
In the story, Kloss tagged @beayork, a private Instagram handle, which appears to belong to the Princess. The account has 651 followers, one of which is Beatrice's mother, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, and is following 1,021 other accounts, at the time of publication. The profile picture, indeed, appears to be Princess Beatrice, and the account has posted 128 times, though we can't see any of the photos.
Unlike the Duchess of Sussex or the Duchess of Cambridge, whose royal engagements are documented on the official Kensington Palace social media accounts, Princess Beatrice could have a public Instagram if she wanted, as she is not technically a working royal. But for now, she clearly wants to keep her photos under-wraps.
Her sister Princess Eugenie launched a public Instagram account earlier this year, where she's been posting behind-the-scenes looks at her royal life, as well as throwback photos from her childhood like the one below.
That said, Beatrice does have a public Twitter account, where she shares posts every so often about organizations she feels passionately about, including her friend's Kode with Klossy initiative.
The Princess of York and Kloss have been friends for years now, even going on vacations together, but it's unclear how they met. It's likely we'll see Beatrice at Kloss's wedding, an event which will no doubt have an eclectic guest list, given not only the bride's famous social circle, but also the groom's family members, Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump.
