Some collaborations leave us puzzled, while others make perfect sense.

The new collection from Diesel and Savage X Fenty falls into the latter category.

On Tuesday, the body- and sex-positive brands launched a limited-edition lingerie and apparel capsule spanning bustiers, string bikinis, thigh-high stockings, teddys, underwear, bras, briefs, tanks and shorts.

Inspired by Savage X Fenty founder Rihanna’s iconoclastic approach to fashion and lingerie, the collaboration highlights the brands’ shared appreciation for “inclusivity and unapologetic self-love,” Diesel stated.

Diesel’s unique approach to prints and textiles are on full display in the collection. Styles feature fishnet and foil prints in iconic Diesel red as well as trompe l’oeil denim in flocked mesh. Burnout velvet treatments in pop colors and camouflage stretch lace add depth and texture to garments. Each piece is embellished with a co-branded Diesel x Savage X Fenty logo.

The Diesel and Savage x Fenty collection retails for $30-$90. The collection is available at select Diesel stores, six Savage x Fenty retail stores in the U.S. and department stores worldwide, as well as Diesel.com and Savagex.com.

The collection is brought to life with a campaign shot by photographer Salvatore Matarazzo and videographer Jacopo Farina.

Envisioned by Diesel creative director Glenn Martens and Rihanna, the campaign depicts a cast of real Italian characters on Tuscan beaches, flaunting body acceptance and freedom. The campaign portrays a judgment-free day in the Italian sun, showcasing people of all ages, body types, genders and ethnicities feeling confident in their outfits, Diesel stated.
