Dignity Health prepares for Back to School drive on July 27
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — For over 20 years, Dignity Health Bakersfield has provided children with school supplies during their back to school drive.
On July 27, a free, drive-thru Back to School Event at the Mercy Richards Education Department will begin at 8 a.m. Families with students up to the 12th grade are invited to 1919 16th Street to get a backpack full of supplies for the new school year. Food boxes, as well as other health and wellness resources will also be distributed, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
