BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET)– With the Kern County Fair kicking off Wednesday, you may be wondering if there are any new attractions.

To answer your question: Yes, there will be a few new attractions. See below for a rundown of new things to do at this year’s fair.

Dinosaur Expedition

Take a peek into the prehistoric ages with a Dinosaur Expedition at the KC Loop. The expedition costs $8 for admission or four tickets for $28, according to the Kern County Fair’s website.

The expedition is set to take place daily from Sept. 18 through Sept. 29.

Stingray Encounter

The Stingray Encounter is a free experience at the KC Loop. The Stingray Encounter is set for Sept. 18 through Sept. 29 but times vary, according to the Kern County Fair’s website.
