'Dirty Dancing' Fans Are Blown Away By Jennifer Grey’s "Hardcore" Workout in IG Video

Thirty-five years after the release of her hit movie Dirty Dancing, actress Jennifer Grey is proving she's still got it.

Earlier this summer, on June 21, the former Dancing With the Stars winner shared a quick look at her workout routine with fans. Wearing a gray sports bra, black leggings and sneakers, she confidently put her abs on display as she used her gym equipment from the comfort of her living room.

"So many of you said you'd be interested in joining my trainer, peter park (@platinumfitsb), and me for our regular workout," she captioned the video on Instagram. "I'm excited to share with you the secret weapon of so many elite athletes, as well as my strategy for staying out of pain."

Without skipping a beat, Jennifer's followers gave the Ferris Bueller's Day Off star props for being dedicated to her workouts no matter where she is. Many folks flooded her Instagram comments section to let the 62-year-old actress know how great she looks.

"OK I just went to see dirty dancing in the movie theater after 35 years and you literally look the exact same woman you are gorgeously stunning," one person wrote. "Nobody puts these abs in a corner. ??," another added referencing a popular scene in the movie. "Wow thats hardcore! Well done ??," a different fan commented.

Speaking of being in her sixties, Jennifer has opened up about the next steps in her career. While a Dirty Dancing sequel was first announced in July 2020, she recently discussed new updates on the project. Her biggest take on things? How it will feel to film without her co-star Patrick Swayze, who died from pancreatic cancer in September 2009.

"I can't tell you much, sadly, but I will tell you that it will involve Baby," she told Entertainment Weekly in August. "It will involve Kellerman's. There will be music. Unless there's a lot of CGI, Baby's going to be a little older. It's going to be Kellerman's, music, dancing, love story, romance."

Jennifer continued: "I'm just so super committed and invested in making it a fresh [take]. What happened happened, and that will never happen again. There will never be another Johnny. There will never be another Patrick. This sequel has got to be its own standalone piece. It's very tricky."

We can't wait to see how it comes together. In the meantime, Jennifer might just keep working out to prep to return to her dancing roots.
