Disney’s New Grape Soda Churro Is the Flavor We Never Saw Coming

Churros are the best and we’re prepared to defend ourselves against anyone who thinks otherwise. HOWEVER, even the greatest of foods can take an incredibly peculiar turn. Case in point: grape soda-flavored churros from Disneyland.

There have been plenty of incredible tasting (and looking) churros at Disney parks. From Fruity Pebbles churros to carrot cake churros to pumpkin churros, it’s no wonder we’ll never have a six-pack!

🍇 Mm this grape soda churro has such a unique twist to its taste in the end! We don’t know if Russell from Disney Pixar’s UP has a father or not, but Mr. Frederickson is for sure a father to him in the movie. Here’s to all of of the father figures in everyone’s lives: #HappyFathersDay. 👨👧

One of the latest flavors to hit the California Churro Cart in Downtown Disney is a grape soda churro, available for $4.99 each. One taster confirmed our worst fears and said that “it tasted a little like cough syrup” despite the fact that “the smell was great.” But hey, your taste buds might tell a different story.

Disney looks to be fulfilling some sort of grape soda obsession right now. During Pixar Fest at Disneyland, there were grape soda cake pops in honor of the movie Up.

In other news, the churro cart is already gearing up for fall because cinnamon, salted caramel, and apple cinnamon churros are also on the menu. It feels like we might actually escape this nonstop heat wave … eventually!
