Disneyland’s New Corn On The Cob Is Smothered In Spicy Cheese Puffs
It's no secret that we're pretty obsessed with Flamin' Hot Cheetos. So when we heard Disneyland was selling "spicy Cheese Puff" corn on the cob, we nearly lost our minds. Butter + spicy lime mayo + hot cheese puffs... ARE. YOU. SERIOUS?!
You can find the fiery elote at Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land at Cone #5 (the same cone offering Dill Pickle and Buffalo Ranch Popcorn). On the menu, the seasonal offering is listed as"Cozy Corn." For those that can't take the heat, don't worry. It comes in two other flavors: cotija (which is basically classic Mexican street corn) and cheese puffs. But if Instagram is any indication, the bright red cob is the hottest-in both flavor and popularity. Each cob will cost you $6.49.
TBH, everything at this counter-service joint in California Adventure sounds pretty incredible. Sally's Summer Churro from Cone #1 is rolled in graham cracker sugar and topped with cream cheese icing. And the Bacon Mac 'n' Cheese from Cone #3 is served in a bread cone. You can also get your booze on with lemonade or vodka and pomegranate limeade.
Between this and the new Sorcerer Mickey Shake, we're dying to book our trip to Disneyland ASAP. But in the meantime, we'll be making our own Flamin' Hot Corn On The Cob that Lena, our food editor, dreamt up last summer. It's insane!
Did Disney get the idea from us? ??We might never know. But for now, we're just happy we see eye to eye on the magic of cheese puffs.
