Dixie D'Amelio Opens Up About How She Felt When Noah Beck Outed Their Relationship
Dixie D'Amelio and Noah Beck's relationship is still going very strong, but that doesn't mean it's not hard at times. Dixie opened up on her podcast about dating in the public eye and the issues that arise. She even specifically called out some haters who had something to say about her relationship on TikTok.
"I am public with Noah, which is really cool," Dixie said on 2 Chix. She admitted though, that she didn't want to relationship to come out the way it did, with Noah revealing the news of AwesomenessTV's show "Vs."
"I was happy and mad at the same time," she said. "I was mad that I didn't get to make the decision because I like being in charge and making all my own decisions, but it was also kind of cute because I know he really cares about me and it was nice and I'm happy with it."
Of course, once two celebs go public with a relationship, it invites fans to share their opinions of the couple. "That can actually mess up the relationship and I just didn't want that because I've been in an internet relationship and having everything public and everyone's eyes on you just makes things so much harder," Dixie said.
Even before going public, though, Dixie admitted that she and Noah would read comments that would upset her. "They would be like, 'Dixie doesn't show him this much attention.' I'm like, 'Well, I just wasn't ready.' So, it kind of took me a minute to get into online relationship mode and like I'm ready to show how I feel about someone."
Dixie also took the time to call out some people who posted a now-deleted video of Dixie and Noah taking a walk the other day. "I was running across the street, walking my dog," she explained. "Just having fun, living my life. It was like a nice day, we're all having fun. I was running. Noah was chasing me because I was acting like a child and these girls film a video of us and go, 'They want to be seen.'" According to Dixie, the girls who filmed the video turned off the comments and prohibited duets so Dixie couldn't respond to it. Instead, she decided to do so on her podcast.
"I just thought it was funny. I was just trying to get breakfast, live my life," she said. "I'm still a teenager. But I guess if I go out in public I want to be seen, so yeah I'm sorry for walking on the street and crossing the street."
Because of all of this, Dixie revealed that while she is currently filming two new music videos, there will not be any "special boy guests" in either of them. According to her, having Noah in her "Be Happy" video in September, "brought a lot of extra stuff. I wouldn't say drama, just like extra things to deal with online."
Sorry all, that means no more music video kisses from Doah ??.
