The 2019 Kentucky Derby is quickly approaching! The 145th running of the Kentucky Derby will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2019.

Even though your Kentucky Derby celebrations will likely consume your entire day (or the whole weekend, if you're at Churchill Downs), it's commonly called the most exciting two minutes in sports for a reason: the actual horse race will only last around two minutes. In fact, the 2018 winner, Justify, completed the race in just two minutes, four seconds, and 20 milliseconds. So if you're not prepared with how to tune in on race day, you'll miss all the action!
