When does Foxtail Coffee open in downtown Holland?
HOLLAND — Foxtail Coffee has decided on an opening date: Friday, Aug. 9.
That’s according to company representatives, who earlier said the goal was to open either late this summer or in the early fall.

Foxtail announced it would open in the former Ferris Coffee at 55 E. Eighth St. in early March. The company, established in Florida in 2016, revamped the space with rustic décor, new seating arrangements, and a full craft coffee menu with seasonal drinks, light food and merchandise.
The space will also include a hand-painted mural from lakeshore artist Sue Mulder.
The building was once home to JP's. Ferris purchased the business in 2015, underwent a partial remodel in 2016, then closed in 2017 for a full remodel. Upon reopening, the shop decided against using the western half of the storefront, which was eventually leased out to Big Fish Sportwear.
