Dog's Hilarious Standoff with Plastic Dinosaur Is Totally Classic

That's one determined pup!

Dogs and toys have always had an interesting relationship, to say the least. While some plushies and balls pass the vibe check, other toys--like this plastic dinosaur--most certainly do not. We think it's safe to say that Coffee the Jack Russell Terrier was not a fan!

To be fair, we'd be grumpy if a big scary animal got in our faces, too. But we'll be darned if the standoff between dog and dino wasn't entertaining and suspenseful AF; no wonder it went viral on Coffee's account, @coffeeelperromontanero.

We could feel this one in our souls! When Coffee finally snapped at the toy we nearly jumped out of our seats--that's just how suspenseful this standoff was. It was like a scene out of a movie!

This "Doggy-Saurus Rex" (that's what @jayp_81 called the pup) sure is a good boy for putting up with these antics. Especially when there's food nearby! No wonder so many of the comments said something along the lines of "'JURASSIC BARK,'” like @vor987321 did. To be fair, though, it's pretty dang funny!

We'd have to agree with viewer @j_dub who wrote, "JRTs are the best dogs ever." They're so spunky and loyal! Coffee seems like the kind of dog to keep everyone entertained, too--and like @ulzana51 said, he's a "confident little dog!!!!" What more could you ask for?
