Donald Glover Makes Rare Red Carpet Appearance With Longtime Girlfriend
Despite being together for almost a decade, not much is known about Glover's partner.
Donald Glover, also known as musical icon Childish Gambino, is well-known in the entertainment industry for his talent in rapping, acting, writing, and much more, but somehow, he manages to keep his home life extremely private.
However, he made a rare red carpet appearance on Tuesday, March 14, bringing his longtime girlfriend Michelle White for the premiere of the Amazon Prime series Swarm.
At the premiere, Glover wore a light yellow cashmere button-up shirt and pants paired with white loafers, looking both cozy and fashionable, while White wore an off-the-shoulder long-sleeved black dress with nude heels. She wore her hair straight and rocked a bright red lip.
Glover and White have been together since approximately 2015, and they share three sons, Legend, Drake, and Donald III. While it's never been reported that Glover and White got married, White was wearing a beautiful diamond ring on her left hand at the Swarm premiere.
White was also spotted at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party on March 12 with Glover.
Despite successfully keeping his personal life private, Glover makes his feelings for White clear any chance he gets, saying in his 2017 Golden Globe acceptance speech, "I really want to say thank you to my son and the mother of my son for making me believe in people again and things being possible, so thank you."
Glover and White looked like they had a great time at the Swarm premiere, and hopefully, White will accompany Glover on the red carpet more often.
The new Amazon Prime series is created by Glover and Janine Nabers. Glover also directed the pilot episode.
Swarm is set between 2016 and 2018 and stars Dominique Fishback as Dre, a young woman dangerously obsessed with one of the world's biggest pop stars. It also stars Chloe Bailey, Damson Idris, Rickey Thompson, Paris Jackson, Rory Culkin, and more.
The series will be released on Amazon Prime Video in its entirety on March 17.
