Donald Jr. and Vanessa Trump might be vacationing together, and they wouldn't be the first exes to do so
It hasn’t yet been a week since Donald Trump Jr. and his wife, Vanessa, announced that they are getting a divorce, but it seems the couple might already be on a family vacation together. Just days after Vanessa’s filing was brought to the public’s attention, Don Jr. began posting on social media from a trip he took with the couple’s five children.

Spending time at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Fla., the kids were seen golfing at the Trump International Golf Club and even fishing with their father. Now, they might have to make room for one more in their spring break activities.

“It’s time for spring break with my kiddies!” Vanessa tweeted, alongside a photo of palm trees. And while she hasn’t disclosed her location, it’s possible that she’s joining Don Jr.’s trip — although people are telling her to steer clear.
Have a blast and by the way Good for you! Here's hoping you find peace and happiness. Steer clear of Trumplandia and you'll be fine:)

If the couple is actually away together, it wouldn’t be the first time that a divorced pair put aside their differences to spend time as a family with their kids. Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, and even Heidi Klum and Seal are just a few examples of celebrity exes who have been on a number of trips with their children. However, the effect on kids is still debated.
“I’ve seen a couple of families that have made this work beautifully. But most of the time I think it’s a bad idea,” clinical psychologist John Duffy told the Chicago Tribune, adding that it may be confusing for children to see their divorced parents back together in that setting. “I’d even recommend a brief family meeting before vacation to say, ‘We’re going to do this, but we don’t want you to think we’re going to get married again. That didn’t work, but this arrangement does.’ It has to be abundantly clear that you’re a family and you love each other, but you weren’t good at being married.”
In the case of Don Jr. and Vanessa, the biggest issue is the short amount of time that has passed since they announced their divorce, in addition to how young their kids are.
“If enough time has passed and there’s some maturity among the kids, it can work,” Duffy said. “But if it’s new and your kids are 4 and 7, there’s enough confusion there already. You don’t want to lend more.”
Regardless of the situation for this particular trip, we can only hope that the kids are enjoying their spring break, despite any marital issues.
