Donald Trump Cares What Brad Pitt Thinks About Him, Too
Donald Trump wasn't a fan of Brad Pitt's Oscars acceptance speech — nor is he a fan of the actor in general, apparently.
During a campaign rally in Colorado on Thursday evening, the president pointed his anger at this year's Academy Awards ceremony, during which Pitt won Best Supporting Actor for his role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, President Trump told the crowd, "And then you have Brad Pitt, I was never a big fan of his. He got up, said a little wise guy thing. He's a little wise guy."
Pitt's speech briefly mentioned the president's impeachment trial referencing the Senate’s decision not to hear from witnesses, after Trump was impeached on two counts (for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress) in the House.
"They told me I only had 45 seconds this year, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week," he said.
Meanwhile, on the same day Trump tried to come for Brad Pitt, of all people, his former adviser Roger Stone was sentenced to 40 months in prison after being convicted of lying to Congress and threatening a witness regarding his efforts for Trump's 2016 campaign.
On Thursday night, Trump also criticized the South Korean Oscar-winning film Parasite.
"How bad were the Academy Awards this year?" he said. "And the winner is... a movie from South Korea! What the hell was that all that about? We've got enough problems with South Korea, with trade. On top of that, they give them the best movie of the year. Was it good? I don't know. Let's get Gone With the Wind back, please? Sunset Boulevard. So many great movies."

In response, Neon, the U.S. distributor for Parasite, tweeted, "Understandable, he can't read."
