Donald Trump Jr. sends border-inspired valentine: 'I want you on my side of the wall'
Donald Trump Jr. treated girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle to a candlelight dinner in New York City for Valentine’s Day. His Instagram followers, meanwhile, got their own special surprise: a valentine inspired by his dad’s controversial push for a wall at the border.
The Valentine’s Day message features a tuxedo-clad President Trump pointing off to the side, with the message “I want you on my side of the wall” next to him. And they say romance is dead.
Happy Valentines Day. Here’s my card to all of my followers. #valentines #valentine

The joke about immigration at the southern border — which was described by Sarah Sanders as a “humanitarian crisis” on the same day — had Trump supporters in hysterics. A few were inspired to share their own versions, including, “Illegal immigrants are stealing our jobs, but you’re stealing my heart.”
“That’s the best Valentine’s Day card ever!” one follower wrote.
“Thank you @realdonaldtrump because the other side isn’t GREAT,” read another comment.
Others were appalled by the message.
“I never use the word ‘jerk,’ but I will now,” a critic wrote. “Donald Trump Sr. is a jerk. And his wall is an idea as illogical as he is.”
