PRIME VIDEO's THE Wheel of Time features all of the aspects that make a fantasy series great: a sprawling mythical world, intriguing characters, and stunning visual effects. Based on the novel series of the same name by Robert Jordan, the series premiered in 2021, and it was quickly renewed for a second and third season.
Starring knockout actors like Rosamund Pike, Daniel Henney, and Sophie Okonedo, the series follows Moiraine, who is a member of a powerful organization called the Aes Sedai. Following an attack, she and her companion Lan venture to a village named Two Rivers to try and find the person who is the physical reincarnation of the Dragon, as a prophecy says that the individual will either save the world or destroy it.
The second season of the show just finished, and fans are eagerly awaiting Season 3. It may be a while before the high-budget fantasy series returns, so in the meantime, you'll need something to keep you busy. Even better, some shows, like Game of Thrones and The Witcher, have their own book series you can start reading as well just like Wheel of Time (depending on who you are, you may even prefer one medium of the stories over the other). There's more than one way to get your fantasy fix right now, and it's arguably one of the best times to be a fan of both books and fantasy shows. Here are 10 shows to start binging after The Wheel of Time.
