Donna Kelce Shares Direct Pre-Super Bowl Advice for Travis and the Chiefs (Exclusive)

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (87) and his mother Donna

As Donna Kelce prepares to head to Las Vegas to see Travis Kelce play in his second consecutive Super Bowl, the NFL matriarch has some heartfelt advice ahead of the big game.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you know that the Kansas City Chiefs are set to take on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Feb. 11, and, while discussing her new partnership with Ziploc, which aims to minimize the 18 million pounds of leftovers that were thrown out after watch parties during Super Bowl 2023, Donna shared some solid advice for the tight end and his teammates with Parade.

"Don't do anything special," she advised sagely, warning against unnecessary risks. "Just [do] what has got you here."

She continued: "The tried and true game-planning that they've always done is usually good enough to win, so, I'm hoping that they will be able to do things like they normally do [and] not have strange plays happen so that we can see a clean game. That's all I hope for."

The advice she gave to both Travis and Jason Kelce last year before the two faced off as the Chiefs took on, and ultimately beat, the Philadelphia Eagles during Super Bowl 2023 reigns true, as well: "Don't leave anything out there. Put everything you have into this game and give it 100 percent."

While Donna's typically been spotted in private suites throughout the season, she's planning to be in the stands with the rest of the fans on Sunday, where you may spot her all decked out in Chiefs gear and savoring a classic stadium barbecue pulled pork.
