Donna Kelce Shares What 'Surprises' Her Most About Son Jason's Parenting Skills

Donna Kelce has nothing but nice things to say about her eldest son, NFL star Jason Kelce, and his parenting skills.

"Jason is a loving and playful father," Donna gushed to People in an interview published on Monday, Jan. 1.

"What surprises me most is his gentle, cuddling nature with the girls, while still bringing excitement and the thrill of roughhousing as much as he can," she went on, "regardless of how he feels."

Donna added, "He strives to place his family as the highest priority in his life."

Jason and his wife Kylie Kelce share three daughters, Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 2, and Bennett, 11 months.

While the Philadelphia Eagles' center is a notable Super Bowl champ, the gentle and softer side of his personality is no "surprise" to us (sorry, Donna). We kind of had a feeling the 36-year-old doting dad was a rockstar girl dad given the many sweet moments he's publicly shared with his family–which included rocking a glittery costume to match his girls on Halloween and the way he had to fight back tears while recording a Christmas tune with his brother, Travis Kelce.

That, and of course, how he gushed over being given an incredibly "thoughtful" gift this past Christmas, his wholesome sense of humor, and the way he reacted when fans tried to nominate him for the title of People Magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive."

At the time, Jason re-shared a post that claimed he was in the final running for the title and shied away from the nomination, writing, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

He may be a tough football player, but he seems to have a huge (and soft) heart–no wonder he's Donna's favorite!
