Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy's House Is As Wild As You'd Expect
Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy live in the most beautiful home in Chicago.
They gave a tour of the space to People.
Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy are pretty colorful characters on TV. Donnie plays the tough but lovable Danny Reagan on Blue Bloods, and Jenny is a judge on the outrageous Fox reality show, The Masked Singer. As it turns out, their home is just as bright and bold as their on-screen personas.
For one, the Chicago abode has amenities like its own pool complete with water slide, waterfall and grotto; a one-hole golf green; and a private nature path in the backyard.
“We have a little trail we created just to take walks—it has a little Buddha and a fountain—and I know that means a lot to [Jenny],” Donnie told People. “We’ve just carved out a little piece of heaven.”
The other areas are just as noteworthy, and each seems to combine both the over-the-top aspects of their careers, as well as the laid-back personalities they share when they’re at home with their kids and four dogs.
In their living room, for example, the baby grand piano isn’t just a showpiece. They purchased it so the New Kids on the Block band member can play (and so his wife can listen). There are also two leather doors with custom-made “J” and “D” handles in another corner of the space, but they don’t lead to an ultra-luxe side room.
“Most people think it’s going to be some cool gothic sex dungeon or something, when in fact it’s actually Jenny’s sewing room,” he said.
Though it’s taken them a bit to decorate, Donnie and Jenny seem to love their cozy-cool digs.
“This isn’t an extravagant home, but there’s no greater symbol of our love for each other than this house and how much love has gone into it,” he said.
