Doria Ragland, Meghan Markle's Mom, Has Reportedly Arrived in the U.K.
Doria Ragland has reportedly touched down in the U.K., prompting speculation that Meghan Markle may deliver her and Prince Harry's first child any day now.
A source confirmed the news to the Sun. "Like all mums, Doria wants to be there for her daughter at this seismic event in her life," the source said. "She has sometimes worried about being so far away but she is absolutely going to be there for her at the birth. She wants to spend as much time as possible with her first grandchild and has come over for a sustained period of time. Meghan also wanted to show off her new house to her mum and the two have been enjoying spending time together."
Doria has reportedly prepped for the trip by canceling a yoga class she was scheduled to teach, and hiring a live-in dogsitter to take care of her two pups.
As for Meghan, she's keeping the details of her birth plan close to her chest. Buckingham Palace recently announced that she and Prince Harry wouldn't pose outside the hospital with their new baby-a recent royal tradition that both Kate Middleton and Princess Diana partook in.
"Meghan Markle does not want the pressure of having to pose on the steps for cameras so soon after childbirth," a source recently told ET. The couple are hoping to "enjoy the magic of childhood without any undue expectations."
It is, however, understood that there will be one announcement when the Duchess is in labor, and another when the baby has arrived.
