Vernworth is a big town with plenty of people in need of your age. One such person is a young boy of a noble house, who seeks to find the perfect gift for his ailing mother. While this is sweet, it’s also dangerous, as the gift he seeks requires a treacherous journey along the road from Vernworth to Melve.

It’s your job to give him some gear to keep him alive, and we’ll tell you exactly what items to provide.

Sebastian has a couple of requirements, but it’s up to you to figure out what those are. We found success by giving him a Misshapen Eye, a Waking Powder, and a Detoxifying Decoction.

You can get a Misshapen Eye by killing a Cyclops. It’s a tough feat, but worth it, as carrying such an eye will help ward off monsters on the road. The Waking Powder and Detoxifying Decoction can be bought from the supplies shop in town, although if you happen to have the ingredients you can make them yourself. Both are essential as Harpies on the road can inflict sleep, and Goblins can inflict poison.

These three items will be enough to see Sebastian safely return in a few days. However, even if you don’t give him optimal items, all is not lost. Instead, when you return to see how it’s going, you’ll be sent out along the path to help save Sebastian from monsters – he may be poisoned if you didn’t give him a Detoxifying Decoction, so make sure you bring one.
