Drake Still Has Problems With Yeezy Sneakers
The rise and fall of Ye's (formerly known as Kanye West) sneaker empire is well-documented. Adidas split ways with the controversial rapper last year following his antisemitic remarks. Now the brand has sold off its remaining inventory to select retailers, with the proceeds going to charity.
The Yeezy sneaker line is officially over. But Drake's beef with Ye appears to be going strong. It's hard to follow the ongoing saga between the two rappers, but after all these years of subliminal shots, they still appear to be best frenemies.
During one of Drake's recent concerts, the award-winning rapper gave a back-handed compliment to one of his fans. "You look good. Even though you got Yeezys on, you still look good."

The verbal jab was definitely light-hearted and meant to get a laugh out of the audience. Besides, Drake already won the sneaker battle with Ye, as his brand is still left standing. Just over a year ago, Drake and Nike launched the sublabel NOCTA. The line focuses on basketball, golf, and lifestyle apparel.
We have come a long way from the days of Drake dissing Yeezy sneakers on Travis Scott's song "Sicko Mode." But apparently, Drake still has plenty of energy left for the old feud. Stay tuned to Men's Journal Sneakers for all your footwear news.
