Contributing to the trend of the glamorous and gilded showing off their lives without makeup, Drew Barrymore posted a message on social media this week aimed to inspire. Posing with her crew of friends, the actress posted on Instagram a message that few can argue with, whatever your thoughts may be on the makeup-free trend.

The message highlights friendship, trust, and making time to spend together:

Celebrities and notables showing up in public makeup-free is certainly not a new phenomenon but it is growing in frequency and becoming more and more acceptable. The latest in occurrences even included former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton giving a speech this week with no makeup.
