Drew Barrymore Has the Perfect Response for Talk Show Trolls
The actress is officially addressing the chatter surrounding her intimate interview style.
Drew Barrymore is not letting a few internet critics get her down.
In fact, she's chiming in on the banter concerning, what trolls called, "cringey" behavior on The Drew Barrymore Show, and from the looks of it, it's all in good fun.
Recently, social media users have had much to say in regards to the 50 First Dates actress' interview style on the talk show, relating to how up close and personal she often gets with her guests.

On April 16, the Charlie's Angels star posted a roundup of hilarious memes poking fun at how she treats visitors on the broadcast, and it seems like even she couldn't help but find the feedback comical.
The Instagram gallery gathered several different images which all depicted various scenarios of people invading others' personal space or being in intimately close proximity, something Barrymore has been accused of lately.

Fans and viewers of the show couldn't help but add jokes to the comment section, as they appreciated The Wedding Singer star's attitude on the whole thing.
"I just know her hugs are so comforting," one theorized, while another hilariously said, "Drew gives the best skin to skin interviews ??????"
A third dropped, "Honestly, yes I do think one session with you would solve my life ????" as Aubrey Plaza quipped, "hold me."
"Do you know how much deep healing work a person would have to do on themselves to be able to hold space for people the way @drewbarrymore does?" an additional comment questioned.

Kerry Washington popped in to agree with the memes, writing, "I concur!" while Reese Witherspoon chimed in with "Facts ??"
One fan referenced their own experience with the host, reminiscing: "I had one conversation with you in 1996 for about 10 minutes and it was one of the most influential of my life. You have a gift. ??"
Another comment summarized what it must be like to appear on the show: "You excede [sic] the talents of Oprah and Barbara Walter's [sic]. Honestly, I feel connected to the people you interview because you have such an amazing way of calming and settling the space, and making room for openness, that makes the person being interviewed and the audience feel seen and heard ????," which was well-received by fellow Instagrammers, collecting over a thousand likes.
Someone even gave her a moniker, emphatically adding, "Dr Drew!!!!!" and after this conversation, we'd be remiss to not suggest that the actress may have missed her calling as a therapist.
