Drew Barrymore's new single-serve coffeemaker grinds and brews on the spot — no pods required
When you want a cup of joe, you want it fresh and fast. But single-use pods are wasteful and grinding beans can be messy and time-consuming. Well, good news: Drew Barrymore's cookware brand, Beautiful, has just released an easy, new single-serve coffeemaker for just under $100 at Walmart — and it'll grind and brew your coffee on the spot — no K-Cups needed.
Drew Barrymore's kitchenware brand has just introduced this brilliant little coffeemaker. It comes in four gorgeous colors, and they're all still in stock (for now).
While it may look like your everyday coffeemaker, it has some pretty special features. For starters, it can brew a single cup, ranging from 6 to 16 ounces, without the use of a coffee pod. Instead it uses whole beans or ground coffee to brew. The machine's built-in grinder auto-grinds the exact amount of coffee needed for any cup size. In fact, it can grind enough coffee for up to 16 cups before you have to refill it. No pods means less waste and more coffee options. Plus, pods can get expensive — whole beans are generally cheaper.
In addition to its brew power, Drew Barrymore's coffeemaker has touch-activated buttons that allow you to select regular, bold or iced. Plus, you can pre-program your brew and wake up to a hot cup of joe each day. Pre-programming not only saves you some time in the a.m. but also sends the uplifting smell of coffee through to air to motivate you out of your bed (I know, it's hard on cold, dark mornings).
Worried about counter space? Beautiful's Perfect Grind Coffee Maker has a slim footprint — just 5 inches wide and under 15 inches tall to be exact. The extra large 64-ounce removable water reservoir sits out of the way on the back of the machine.
Now, just a heads-up, in the past, some of Beautiful's kitchen appliances have sold out shortly after launching. For example, its sage green air fryer originally sold out within 24 hours. Drew Barrymore's coffeemaker comes in the brand's signature light green, as well as light blue, black and white. If there's a color you really want, you may want to add it to your cart ASAP. Right now, they're all still in stock, but there's no telling when your fave will sell out.
How do you like your coffee(maker)? Black, creamy or sweet as can be like this cornflower blue model.
More of a tea drinker? The Beautiful Electric Kettle is a Walmart shopper favorite.
The tea kettle has four touch-activated buttons that are preprogrammed for boiling water and making green, oolong or white teas.
"I was extremely impressed by the design and function of this kettle," wrote one happy Walmart customer. "The touch buttons are super cool and they give this kettle a very techy modern feel. But I was really sold on this product for its preset temperature controls. I’m an avid green tea drinker. I usually boil my water on the stovetop but with this product I can go about my business and come back and drink my tea whenever I like."
