As a beauty writer and editor, I am sent lots of products to test out. While it’s easy to gravitate toward the really luxurious and expensive ones that celebrities claim help them look forever young, discovering a new budget-friendly drugstore find is actually the most joy-sparking of all. The lower eye cream contains certain ingredients that can contribute to de-puffing and reducing the appearance of dark circles, including sodium hyaluronate, a humectant that helps hydrate skin and palmitoyl tripeptide–5, “which can support skin elasticity and firmness and could help reduce puffiness. Additionally, this formula also includes retinol and panthenol for an extra boost of hydration.

I was pleasantly surprised the first time I tested the creams. Both the pink gel and white cream absorb nicely into the skin and don't flake off, even after applying concealer and eyeshadow, which is one of my first tests for any eye cream. My eyes are also quite sensitive, but I didn’t experience any irritation or eye-watering with this RoC product. Overall, both feel quite luxurious and similar to much more expensive eye creams I have tried.

After just one day of using the product, I awoke looking refreshed. I definitely noticed that my under-eye area looked brighter and the fine lines seemed to be smoothed out a little. After a few weeks, I have seen even more of a difference — my lids don’t look quite as droopy and my under-eye area continues to look plumper and brighter.
