Your votes were heard loud and clear: The winner of the APP Readers' Choice Food Truck Contest, with more than 81% of the vote, is Ohana.
"We went really hard on social media," said Gavin DeCapau of Ohana on rallying their fans to vote in the bracket.
"With so many great foods in the area, we feel honored that Ohana was voted the winner of the Jersey Shore Food Truck Festival," Candy Blake, also of Ohana, continued. "We want to thank all our patrons, family and friends for all their support. Ohana truly means family."
The Lavallette-based Ohana Food Truck is known for coastal bites like warm lobster rolls topped with butter on a brioche buns, and blackened shrimp tacos with lettuce; corn, bean, pepper and onion salsa, and chili aioli.

They were presented with a commemorative plaque and Food Truck magnet from the Asbury Park Press on the first day of the festival this weekend.
Five Sisters Food Co., the runnerup, is a nationally known and awarded brand with barbecue bites and savory sides like loaded fries.
"If we had to lose to anyone, we would want it to be them," owner George Miller said.
All 32 participants can be seen at this weekend's Jersey Shore Food Truck Festival at Monmouth Park Racetrack. The festival takes place Saturday, May 25 to Monday, May 27, in Oceanport.
