Dua Lipa was giving serious female warrior vibes on the 2024 Grammy Awards red carpet. She hit the red carpet alongside her date, dad Dukagjin Lipa, in a custom floor-length, long sleeve Courreges gown inspired by Joan of Arc (courtesy of her stylist Lorenzo Posocco).

“I feel very excited to wear it. I feel very strong in it. It’s definitely a heavy, like, metal dress, so I was like, I feel very Joan of Arc,” she told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet.

Dua’s gown was covered in metal fringe-like sequins that featured a deep V neck and two cut-outs low on her hips. Although her gown covered her feet while posing on the red carpet, her strut revealed she was wearing silver pointy-toed heels underneath.

She accessorized with a chunky platinum and 18k yellow gold gem-encrusted fish necklace and matching cuff from Tiffany & Co., which featured colorful orange sapphires, padparadscha sapphires, rubellites, and diamonds.

Dua’s beauty also slayed. She wore her “Cherry Cola hair” parted down the middle with subtle waves throughout, giving her a grunge feel. Her eye makeup perfectly matched her gown, with her eyelids slicked with a sparkly gun-metal eyeshadow and dark eyeliner. She chose a bronze-inspired blush on her cheeks, which she paired with a neutral lipstick to complete her look. On her nails, Dua chose a classic 90’s inspired French manicure.

The “Levitating” singer was nominated twice for her song from the Barbie movie soundtrack, “Dance the Night”. Dua was up for Song of the Year and Best Song Written for Visual Media.
