Duchess Meghan Dazzles in an All-White Look in Her First Public U.K. Appearance in 2 Years

Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry have made their first official public appearance in the United Kingdom since stepping back as senior members of the royal family two years ago.

The couple arrived this morning at St. Paul's Cathedral to attend the National Service of Thanksgiving, one of this week's Platinum Jubilee events that honor Queen Elizabeth's history-making 70-year reign.

Meghan opted for an all-white set from Dior's haute couture spring/summer 2022 collection. The look was composed of a long trench coat and skirt made of wool and silk, plus an organza shirt. Her ivory pumps and gloves were also courtesy of the French fashion house, and her floppy hat was designed by Stephen Jones. She further accessorized with diamond stud earrings.

Meanwhile, Harry wore a black tailcoat jacket with gray pinstriped pants.

Their appearance comes after the two were spotted watching yesterday's Trooping the Colour parade from the Major General's Office, which overlooked the parade grounds. There, photos captured the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who flew from California to London on Wednesday, playfully interacting with Peter Phillips's daughters, 11-year-old Savannah and 10-year-old Isla, as well as Mike and Zara Tindall's girls, eight-year-old Mia and three-year-old Lena.

Though this event marks their first official public appearance in the United Kingdom since early 2020, the Sussexes previously paid a secret visit to the queen this past April. At the time, a spokesperson confirmed to BAZAAR.com that Harry and Meghan stopped in England on their way from California to the Invictus Games, which was hosted this year in the Netherlands. It was the couple's first time reuniting with the queen, as well as Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, after more than two years apart.
