Duchess Meghan Dazzles in All-White Look in First Public U.K. Appearance in 2 Years
Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry have made their first official public appearance in the U.K. since stepping back as senior members of the royal family two years ago.
The couple arrived this morning at St. Paul's Cathedral to attend a National Service of Thanksgiving, one of this week's Platinum Jubilee events that honor Queen Elizabeth's history-making 70-year reign.
Meghan wore an all-white outfit consisting of a belted collared midi dress, a floppy hat, and ivory pumps. She accessorized with matching white gloves and diamond stud earrings. Meanwhile, Harry wore a black tail coat jacket with gray pinstriped pants.
Their appearance comes after the two were spotted watching yesterday's Trooping the Colour parade from the Major General's Office, which overlooked the parade grounds. There, photos captured the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who flew from California to London on Wednesday, playfully interacting with Peter Phillips's daughters, 11-year-old Savannah and 10-year-old Isla, as well as Mike and Zara Tindall's children, eight-year-old Mia and three-year-old Lena.
Though this event marks their first official appearance in the U.K. since early 2020, the Sussexes had previously paid a secret visit to the Queen this past April. At the time, a spokesperson confirmed to BAZAAR.com that Harry and Meghan stopped in England on their way from California to the the Invictus Games, which was hosted this year in the Netherlands. It was the couple's first time reuniting with the Queen, as well as Charles and Camilla, after more than two years apart.
