Dunkin Donuts Dropped A Girl Scout-Inspired Menu
This spring, Dunkin' Donuts and the Girl Scouts are making sugary dreams come true. Not only can you buy Girl Scout Cookies at Dunkin' next month, the coffee shop known for constantly shaking up its menu dropped three new drink flavors inspired by the famous cookies.
Thin Mint, which mixes cool mint and chocolate flavors; Coconut Caramel, based on the beloved Samoas; and Peanut Butter Cookie coffees are available now at Dunkin' stores. They'll be in stores through May, so they might outlast your local troop. Either way, we want to dunk cookies in our Girl Scout Cookie coffee ASAP.
If you want to pick up some actual Samoas with your morning latte, select stores will be opening their doors to the Scouts on the weekends between February 24 and March 18. You can find participating locations on the official Girl Scout website.
While the three coffees are the only official Girl Scout items at DD, their spring menu includes a new donut that will remind you of perhaps the most famous cookie: Thin Mints. The Mint Brownie Donut is filled with mint brownie batter creme and topped with light green frosting and brownie crumbles.
Keeping with tradition, a seasonal glazed donut is on the menu too, and it's getting us ready for warmer weather. The Spring Fling donut is covered in purple frosting and pastel star-shaped sprinkles. Munchkins with the same sprinkles will be available, too.
Dunkin' also added two breakfast sandwiches to the spring menu and they're all about the meat. The Brown Sugar Chipotle Bacon sandwich is reminiscent of last fall's Maple Sugar Bacon sandwich, and comes with a double portion of caramelized brown sugar chipotle bacon, eggs, and cheese. That bacon sounds much fancier than what we make at home, tbh. There's also a new double-portion Sausage Breakfast Sandwich served on a bagel.
