Dylan Dreyer is celebrating her pooch for National Love Your Pet Day!
The Today meteorologist took to Instagram on Tuesday, Feb. 20, in honor of the special occasion, to share a fun fact about her dog with fans.
In Dreyer's social media upload, she explained that her pup actually goes by a nickname, likely due to the dog's full name being so long. "Happy National Love Your Pet Day!!" she opened the caption, further adding, "Did you know Bosco’s full name is Boscocheena Cassis Belli Cocoa Bean? It’s Bosco for short."
The mom of three boys wrapped up by concluding, "Love you Bosco!" but people in the comment section were stunned at the admission, dropping jokes about why the family opts to use a shortened version of the dog's lengthy moniker.
"I don't see why you don't use her full name lol," one quipped, while another exclaimed, "Wow! What a name! ??"
Someone else called the image "the sweetest picture," as a fourth commenter added, "She's so lucky to be surrounded by such a loving family ????????????."
"???????????? That's a mouthful of a name," another concurred.
Several more simply noticed how "adorable" the pup is, with one Instagram user, in particular, writing, "She's is the most adorable big sister to your boys!!????"
Pets aside, Dreyer is a mama to her sons Calvin Bradley, Russell "Rusty" James, and Oliver George.
National Love Your Pet Day "focuses on giving extra attention to our pets. The day encourages pampering our pets and focusing on the special relationship pets hold in our lives," according to the National Day Calendar. While it may not be common knowledge regarding the person who started the observation of the holiday, the "masses began celebrating it and bringing it to light on a wide scale in the early 2000s," per Days of the Year.
