East Coast Skier Catches Unreal Conditions At Undisclosed Location

Skiers, you know the drill: the West is a powder haven, and the East is a bone-dry ice-fest until... it isn't?

In this clip, skier Ben Micheals recently caught some unreal conditions at a secret East Coast spot.

A commenter below this video asked Micheals where this was filmed, to which Micheals replied: "Stowe VT!"

Dear reader, I'm no Northeast expert, but I think it's safe to say that this run wasn't anywhere on Stowe's piste, and Micheals was making a joke.

In all likelihood, Micheals sniffed out this spot somewhere in the Adirondacks backcountry based on his hashtag, which reads "#adirondacks."

It's marked a departure from Micheals' December content, which had 100% more ice and dirt, proving that the East, too, benefitted from the early January 20224 snowstorms that passed through North America.

The powder harvest prompted 4FRNT Skis to wonder if this was "Best east coast pow POV of all time." To that, I'm inclined to agree—at the bare minimum, this clip is up there. The powder on display rivaled the West's best offerings, cementing Micheals' caption to his video: "When it's good it's good."

I don't know about you, but I'm stoked to see an actual East Coast powder day.
